Once upon a time a King had twelve daughters; each one more beautiful than the other. Every night, as they slept; the king would lock and bolt the door. In the morning when he unlocked the door, he saw that their shoes were worn out with dancing. The King proclaimed that whoever could discover where they danced at night, could choose one of them for his wife and be King after his death, if they fail - they would forfeit their life. Many princes came, but failed to find the answer. A soldier took the challenge. He declined a drink from the daughters; realizing their mischief. As he pretended to sleep, the daughters went out, he followed them to a party at a castle with 12 princes. They would dance until 3am.
